Testimony Guidelines

In about 1 page (double spaced, 12pt), write about your journey of faith and why you want to be baptized. Some have found it helpful to structure it around 3 questions:

1. What was your life like before you met Christ?
2. How did you meet Christ?
3. What difference is Christ making in your life?

After receiving a draft, your pastor will plan to meet with you to review details and your testimony. We encourage you to write it as a story with specific details as opposed to using overly general language (ie. Instead of “Christ means so much to me and has done so much for me,” tell us specifically what that has looked like in your life).
